EL POLÉMICO NUEVO GOBIERNO DE YEMEN/ The controversial new government of Yemen

This last week we have seen how the conflict in Yemen took a new twist when the huthies rebel forces and the forces loyal to the former President Saleh declared the creation of a new Government.
This new Government is formed by members of the rebel huthies and by supporters of ex-President Saleh in what they call a «National Salvation» Government and will be headed by Abdelaziz bin Habtur, ally of former President Saleh and former Governor of the city of Aden, and by other 30 portfolios more that will be divided between both factions .
This new step has caused a malaise general in the area, especially in the Government led by Hadi that had to shelter in the city of Aden and that now is located in the exile in Riyadh; and who considers that this Government is illegitimate because his Government is the one formally recognized by the international community. The international community haven`t also left pass this situation, manifesting his unhappiness as the Governments members of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the members of the Arab League, Turkey and United Nations .
The special envoy from United Nations for the Yemeni conflict, Ismail Uld Shaykh Ahmed, already declared that the formation of this Government only supposes a new obstacle for reaching the peace between both fighters, as this supposed that the rebel huthies, which took the capital of the country in 2015, don’t have any intention of negotiating with their rivals of the South and therefore implies a continuation of the conflict that has already left more than 7000 deaths and 35000 injuries , not counting the population that is dying of hunger in which was already before the war one of the poorest countries in the world.
All of this could lead to a showdown against U.S. and the UN, which have been claiming for months the creation of a Government of national unity to be able to put an end to the conflict , although at the moment the huthies feel comfortable in the resistance, which allows them to not feel pressured and maintain the positions of challenge.
