UN ESTADO TURCO A LA MEDIDA DE ERDOGAN/ A Turkish tailored State of Erdogan

erAfter the failed coup of State that took place in July against the President Erdogan we have seen a series of dismissals and fast trials that already have charged more than 80000 jobs and that have stated directly against all those that are believed that could have had supported it. However, the leader of the Islamist party of Justice and Development Party (AKP) is becoming much more far, placing positions of maximum responsibility to people very close to it.

The latest movements in this regard have been seen this month of September, in which the Turkish Minister of the Interior Efkan Ala presented his resignation without explanation and he was immediately replaced by former Minister of Labour and Social Security Süleyman Soylu, someone very close to Erdogan. Also, it has driven out to 820 military of the army of land, sea and air that doesn’t makes more than add this to the long list of purges that is leading in all the areas.

But what is occupying mainly the time of the leader is the fight against the Islamic State to protect their borders and the fight against the Kurdish both inside as outside the country. In this order they have hardened the fight at the military level against the Kurdish fighting in Syria, which are U.S. allies, as on the political level, firing 28 mayors, from which 24 are sympathizers of the PKK terrorist group, while the other four are suspected of sympathizing with Fethullah Gülen. The PKK is banned since it was considered as a terrorist group because of the use of violence, but the pro-Kurdish Democratic Party of Regions (DBP) has protested against this measure as blow to democracy, comparing them with the coup of the 15J.

What itself is clear is that Erdogan has proposed to do a cleaning in all the country of those who consider that the actions of the Government are not the best for the country, taking to jail in massive way to journalists and writers as Asli Erdogan, closing any publication that contravenes what it is said by the Government or that criticises them, etc. Also is has just convened oppositions for 20000 new police in the country, which indicates the degree of importance of keeping forces of security spacious and trained, and loyal to the Government of Erdogan.
